Want to step into the world of studio photography but don’t know where to start?
This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to give you a solid foundation in studio lighting, equipment, and technique—all in a practical, no-pressure environment.
We’ll start with an introduction to studio photography, covering key concepts like light theory, equipment, and camera settings. Through live demonstrations, you’ll learn how to control and shape light to create different effects.
The second half of the workshop is all about hands-on experience! You’ll have the possibility to photograph a model in two different lighting setups—under guided instruction and experimenting on your own to build confidence and create portfolio-worthy images.
Workshop Overview:
📷 Introduction – Welcome, overview of studio photography.
📷 Light Theory & Equipment – Understanding light, modifiers, and essential studio gear.
📷 Camera Settings for Studio Work – Mastering aperture, shutter speed, and ISO in a controlled environment.
🍽 Lunch Break – A chance to network and discuss insights with fellow participants.
📷 Practical Studio Photography – Hands-on session with our model, using two different lighting setups and modifiers.
📷 Wrap-Up & Q&A – Recap of key takeaways, final questions, and feedback.

Alena Massen
I am a portrait photographer drawn to truth, emotions, and transformation. My work focuses on women — their strength, their stories, and revealing a beauty that isn’t defined by age or shape, but by inner harmony and honest presence. I believe in the power of portraiture to connect us to ourselves and each other. Whether through symbolic storytelling or minimalist intimacy, my goal is always the same: to see and help others feel seen and truly accepted by themselves.
