Several times throughout a year we propose group workshops, in general in our studio in Platen, Préizerdaul. These workshops are meant in small groups, normally between 3 and 5 people, to be able to answer individual questions, and give each participant the possibility to have the best learning experience. As a lot of the workshops include some practical part to pose and photograph a model, small groups also increase the time for everybody on set with the model.

You prefer a more individual approach? Book a one-on-one lesson (or a series of lessons) with Alena, or depending on the topic also with Patrick.
These lessons/individual photography courses can have a wide range of topics, tailored to what you are looking for. Do you want to learn the basics of photography? Make your first steps in portrait photography? Maybe you would like to learn how to pose and direct a person? Finding your own style in photography? Or make your first experience to photograph a model? You want to learn how to retouch a portrait? On the business side Patrick gives lessons about photography business and website creation. So feel free to reach out and tell us your ideas, to send you a tailored quote for your one-on-one lesson or photography course with several lessons which might build up on each other.
Get a real, experienced read on your portfolio — not just whether the photos are technically good, but whether they work together.
Submit your portfolio and Alena will walk through it with you: which images are your strongest, which ones pull the set down, whether there’s real consistency running through the work, and whether your style actually comes across clearly to someone seeing it for the first time. Just as important: does the portfolio speak to the audience you’re trying to reach, or is it showing something different from what you actually want to attract?
Some portfolio audits will be done live, streamed on social media so other photographers can learn from the discussion too. If you’d rather keep it private, one-on-one audits without the livestream will also be available.
